I would like to install a misting system along a chain link fence.  I would like the misting jets to point down on an angle.  My toatal legnth is about 100'

Questions:

How hard is this system to install?

Is it a durable product?

What issues have fist time installers had with this system?

Is this going to be an expensive system?   More than $300?

Hi Lathe Man,
Just saw your post and I apologize for the delay!

Lathe Questions:

Lathe: How hard is this system to install?
Sam:  Very easy and if you watch our video on installing our Landscape Kit MLK-81 you can see how simple it actually is to install.  ( MLK-81: Micro-Sprinkler Landscape & Shrub Kit with 5 Green Stake Assemblies covering up to 250 sq. ft.)

Lathe: Is it a durable product?
Sam: Yes, are products are made with high quality products to last years in the field in both hot and cold climates.  Commercial growers have been using our products for over 30 years now.

Lathe: What issues have first time installers had with this system?
Same: Understanding what all to get started with and that’s why we suggest one of our Kits so you have all that you need in one package.  The other nice feature of our Kits are that you can add on to them later.

Lathe: Is this going to be an expensive system?   More than $300?
Sam: That depends on what all you purchase but let’s say you use our Kit MLK-81 and on our web site it is $31.97.  Plus you will need an additional 50ft  roll of our ½” Tubing for $9.99 and with the 50f coil that comes in the Kit will give you a total of 100ft.
Now if you need more length to go from the faucet to your 100ft of fence then you would just need to add that depending on the distance.  Typically you would space the Micro Stake Assemblies every 6 to 8ft apart but I am not sure what you are watering so will use our Half circle sprays already on the 5 stakes assemblies in the Kit.  If you place them every 6ft you will need approx. 17 total – 5 in the Kit would be 12.  If you place them every 8ft you will need 13 total – 5  in the Kit is 8 additional.
12 of our MLS-211 is 12 x 3.38 =$40.56 and 8 x 3.38 = $27.04.  Then to purchase more half circle patterns, you would need 2 or 3 of the MLM-404  $3.28 x 3= 9.84 or $3.28 x 2 = $6.76   or 1 of the MLM-44 $5.00.  All the rest of the components you will need will be in the Kit.  So your total for the Kit, 50ft Coil, 12 extra Assemblies and Half micro sprays = $87.52 with MLM-44 and $92.36 with the MLM-404. So your total for the Kit, 50ft Coil, 8 extra Assemblies and Half micro sprays = $74.00 with MLM-44 and $75.76 with the MLM-404.  Your total should be under $100 to water 100ft of your fence line.

Sam: Please let me know if you have any questions on any of this! Thank you for the questions! Have a great day and thank you for your business!
