Use this 3/4-in Female Faucet HoseThread Fitting to attach 1/2-in Poly Tubing (MLT-25), (MLT-71), (MLT-72) or 1/2-in In-Line Drip Tubing (MLD-HDT100) to any outdoor water faucet or garden hose.
Ergonomically designed to make installation easier and to create a secure fit based on your hand strength.
To attach the 1/2-in Poly Tubing, first push the collar back to expose the barb with a built-in O-ring.
Push and wiggle the 1/2-in Poly Tubing onto the fitting and under the collar until snug.
While holding the tubing with 1 hand, turn the ears of the collar in a left counterclockwise motion to tighten and lock onto the 1/2-in Poly Tubing.
If you find it difficult to get the 1/2-in Poly Tubing onto the fitting, use a little olive oil or vegetable oil by wiping it on the inside of the wall of 1/2-in Poly, then push onto the fittings.
This fitting can be uninstalled easily by unthreading the collar in a clockwise motion, then by pulling off the 1/2-in Poly Tubing.

RECOMMENDATIONS & LIMITATIONS
When installing any irrigation system, it is important to be aware of manufacturer recommendations and potential system limitations. Please be aware of the following: Order installation is critical for proper system function. This is the order in which parts should be installed, starting from the outdoor faucet.
1) Check your outdoor faucet to make sure there is an attached or built-in Brass Anti-Siphon Vacuum Breaker that is designed to prevent backflow of fluids into the potable/drinking system.
2) A Metal "Y" Fitting is suggested so you can attach your garden hose.
3) The Electronic Timer (MLWT-1ZONE, MLWT-TWOZONE) or our Mechanical Timer (MLWT-EGG).
4) Pressure Regulator. When using our Micro Sprays with a water pressure over 50 PSI, use our 40 PSI Pressure Regulator (MLA-40PR), and when using Drippers, we highly suggest using our 25 PSI Pressure Regulators (MLD-25PR).
5) 150 Mesh Filter (MLFF-41) is suggested when using Drippers or when using our products with "well" water.
6) 1/2-in Poly Faucet Fitting (MLF-33) to connect the 1/2-in Poly Tubing or the 1/4-in Faucet Adapter (MLA-FAS) to connect the 1/4-in Vinyl Tubing.
