Use this 3/4-in Female Faucet HoseThread Fitting to attach 1/2-in Poly Tubing (MLT-25), (MLT-71), (MLT-72) or 1/2-in In-Line Drip Tubing (MLD-HDT100) to any outdoor water faucet or garden hose.
Ergonomically designed to make installation easier and to create a secure fit based on your hand strength.
To attach the 1/2-in Poly Tubing, first push the collar back to expose the barb with a built-in O-ring.
Push and wiggle the 1/2-in Poly Tubing onto the fitting and under the collar until snug.
While holding the tubing with 1 hand, turn the ears of the collar in a left counterclockwise motion to tighten and lock onto the 1/2-in Poly Tubing.
If you find it difficult to get the 1/2-in poly tubing onto the fitting, use a little olive oil or vegetable oil by wiping it on the inside of the wall of 1/2-in Poly, then push onto the fittings.
This fitting can be uninstalled easily by unthreading the collar in a clockwise motion, then by pulling off the 1/2-in Poly Tubing.
