This complete kit comes with 30 ft of 1/4-in Vinyl Tubing (MLT-B30) and everything needed to attach to an outdoor faucet to water 8 potted plants with a Micro Spray Pot Stake (MLS-POTSTK) that gives a 165° half-circle down-spray pattern with up to a 2-ft radius.
Each Pot Stake is adjustable from 0-8 GPH by turning the top On/Off Valve (MLT-BVA) so you can then supply your plants with a drip of water up to a 165° half-circle fan down-spray.
Use the 1/4-in Vinyl Tee Fittings (MLT-TEE) to run the vinyl to the 8 Micro Spray Pot Stakes (MLS-POTSTK).
Install by pushing the 1/4-in vinyl end onto the 1/4-in barb inlet on the top of the stake
RECOMMENDATIONS & LIMITATIONS
When installing any irrigation system, it is important to be aware of manufacturer recommendations and potential system limitations. Please be aware of the following:
ORDER OF INSTALLATION:
Order of installation is critical for proper system function. Some parts mentioned here are NOT included in this kit but can be purchased separately. This is the order in which parts should be installed, starting from an outdoor water faucet.
1) Use the enclosed Backflow Prevention Valve if your faucet does not already have a built-in Backflow Preventer. This device is designed to prevent the backflow of fluids from backing into the potable/drinking water system.
2) A Metal "Y" Fitting is suggested so you can still attach your garden hose.
4) Pressure Regulator: When using our Pot Stakes with a water pressure over 50 PSI, use our 40 PSI Regulator (MLA-40PR). 5) A 150 Mesh Filter (MLFF-41) is suggested for Pot Stakes when using our products with "well" water. 6) Use the enclosed 1/4-in Faucet Adapter (MLA-FAS), which connects to the 1/4-in Vinyl Tubing. MAXIMUM RUNS
Run up to 30 ft of our 1/4-in Vinyl Tubing installing up to 8 of the Micro Spray Pot Stakes.
Run up to 300 ft of our 1/2-in Poly Tubing installing up to 65 of our Micro Spray Pot Stakes off one faucet. The first stakes will use up to 6.3 gph and the furthest away stakes at the end of the runs will use approximately 4 gph.
Minimum operating pressure for Micro Spray Pot Stakes: 5 PSI.
Maximum operating pressure for Micro Spray Pot Stakes: 25 PSI.
