This complete kit comes with a 50-ft roll of 1/2-in Poly tubing (MLT-71), 2 rolls of 30-ft 1/4-in Vinyl tubing (MLT-B30), a Hose Fitting (MLF-33), a 40 PSI Pressure Regulator (MLA-40PR), a Faucet Filter (MLFF-41), an All In One Hole Punch Tool (MLA-TOOL), 8 Goof Plugs (MLA-51G), 1 1/2-in Poly Tee (MLF-34), 1 1/2-in Poly Coupling (MLF-36), 2 1/2-in Poly End Crimpers (MLA-50), 5 1/2-in Poly Support Stakes (MLA-57), 15 1/4-in Couplers (MLT-BXB), 12 1/4-in Tees (MLT-TEE), and 5 1/4-in Elbows (MLT-ELB), and 15 newly designed Adjustable Dripper Stakes (MLD-STA).
Adjust the Dripper Stakes to Drip or Spray water by turning the dial from 0 -10 GPH and releasing drops of water, up to spraying 8 individual streams of water in up to a 2-ft diameter full circle spray. These Newly designed Stakes come with a New "hard stop" cap that will not easily come off if the cap is rotated to a fully open position. The Tops can be removed. To do so, once the Top is in the fully open position, simply twist the Top with more force in a "counter clockwise” motion to remove it. To reassemble, use force pushing the Top back on while also turning it in a “clockwise” motion until you feel it catch the threads.
Use one of the 1/4-in Couplers (MLT-BXB) to run the 1/4-in Vinyl from the 1/2-in Poly Tubing to the top of the Pot where you would install one of the Dripper Stakes to water the plants inside the pot. If you want to run a string of 1/4-in Vinyl to several Stakes to water several pots, use the included 1/4-in Vinyl Tee Fittings (MLT-TEE).
Use the included All-In-One Hole Punch Tool (MLA-TOOL) to assist in installing the 1/4-in Coupler (MLT-BXB) into the 1/4-in vinyl and to punch a hole into the side of the 1/2-in Poly Tubing.
ORDER OF INSTALLATION
Order of installation is critical for proper system function. Some parts mentioned here are NOT included in this kit but can be purchased separately. This is the order in which parts should be installed, starting from an outdoor faucet.
1) Check your outdoor faucet to make sure there is an attached or built-in Brass Anti-Siphon Vacuum Breaker that’s designed to prevent the backflow of fluids back into the potable/drinking water system.
2) A Metal "Y" Fitting is suggested so you can still attach your garden hose.
4) Pressure Regulator: When using these Dripper Stakes, we suggest using our 40PSI Pressure Regulator (MLA-40PR) ( Included in the kit). 5) 150 Mesh Filter (MLFF-41) is suggested for Dripper Stakes and Drippers, or when using our products with "well" water. (Included in the kit). 6) Use the 1/2-in Faucet Hose Fitting (MLF-33) to attach to the side of the Filter and to connect the 1/2-in Poly Tubing. (Included in the kit).
MAXIMUM RUNS
With the 1/2-in Poly Tubing, you can run run up to 300 feet of Poly (a 50-ft roll is in the Kit), installing up to 30 Adjustable Dripper/Spray Stakes (MLD-STA), and 15 are included in the kit, that are dialed wide open to give a small full circle 8-stream spray, or you could run up to 300-ft of our 1/2-in Poly Tubing, installing up to 100 of the Adjustable Dripper/Spray Stakes with the tops dialed down to only a drip.
